    Glue Therapy

Glue treatment for veins is one of the newest and most innovative, minimally invasive options to avoid vein stripping or vein surgery. Glue therapy uses a vein glue known as VenaSeal for closing the varicose vein. The glue is medical-grade adhesive, meaning it is safe for use inside the human body.

What is the Glue Closure Treatment?

In glue closure treatment, an adhesive is used to seal the vein, thereby treating varicose veins as well as venous reflux in the least invasive manner without heating or stripping the vein.

The VenaSeal procedure is the best glue closure treatment in Punjab that involves the placement of some quantity of VenaSeal glue into the vein using a small catheter. Once the diseased vein is sealed, blood gets re-routed via other healthy veins of the leg immediately. Unlike other treatments, VenaSeal does not require a regional nerve block or Tumescent anesthesia. Furthermore, there are no pre-procedure drugs involved and patients can return to their normal activities right after the treatment.

Is the Glue therapy procedure painful?

Unlike other procedures, Glue therapy does not require any anesthesia around the vein. Patients who underwent this varicose vein treatment system, reported little to no pain or discomfort, both during and after the procedure.

    Benefits of Glue Therapy

    • Simple outpatient procedure
    • No tumescent anesthesia
    • Less pain and bruising than thermal ablation
    • Faster recovery time than thermal ablation
