Restless leg syndrome (RLS) also known as Willis-Ekbom disease, is a nervous system disorder. In this condition, there is a strong and irresistible urge to move your legs. This mainly happens because of unpleasant sensations in the legs which increase when you are resting or sleeping. This leads to sleep disruptions in patients. As a result of which patient feels tired and sleepy throughout the daytime. This can further deteriorate patients’ health and can sometimes end up in depression.
